Mary had contacted me awhile ago about sprucing up her blog to go with her new branding she had just gotten completed. She gave me quite a bit of detail to work off from and I started on the design, but it’s not always easy to portray what the client may have in their head. Designers like photographers aren’t mind readers after all. :p With a couple of hitches, and some tweaking we were finally on the right track, and before you know it we ended up with the design you see before you. The blog is a culmination of simple clean lines, that gives a very chic, classy, look. She wanted something to show clients she was serious about her business and her brand, but something with class. It just need a little something extra, something that says Hey…I can be fun too! The footer, and the font for the comment box adds just that light touch of fun to tone down the look as a whole without taking away from the overall design. These elements also gives her an extra edge in her branding when it comes to business cards, and other print media.
